Students enrolled for Post Graduate Diploma in Music Therapy in CSMT, as a part of the requirement for the certificate have to undergo 6 months internship training only in any one of the centers with onsite supervision.
1. Chennai. Cancare Foundation, Taramani, Chennai. At Cancare Foundation, the internship trainees work alongside the Oncologists team to provide music therapy services(both inpatient and outpatient services) as a supportive care. The music therapy program is run by CSMT in collaboration with Cancare Foundation.
2. Hyderabad. Virinchi Hospitals, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. First Internship batch commenced on 28 2 2022. The music therapy program is run by CSMT in collaboration with CSMT.
3. Pondicherry. Center for Music Therapy Education and Research (CMTER) Mahatma Gandhi Medical College & Research Institute, Campus, Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth, Pondicherry.
